Tips On Monitoring Your Own Apartment At Night

By Mikale M Oshby

We watched the burglar on video dashing out of our house, in the dim light, hauling his bag filled with our things. The video camera was aimed right at his own face, but this didn't make a difference. As the recording was really dim, you could not view his own face whatsoever.

We still showed this to the law enforcement officials, obviously. Naturally, they could not make his face out, either, therefore the video was very useless. That same day, I changed our old CCTV camera with the best low light security cam I could locate. This new one works even under no light at all.

Surveillance cams let people to protect their homes or businesses from break-ins, as well as keep an eye on their own workers or family members. A few allow monitoring from another area.

Surveillance cameras aren't made the same, as we found out. A few types can't see in the dark. Others can, but some of these can't see as good compared to the others.

That is precisely why I bought a day/night camera that can see no matter what the lighting conditions are, or just what the weather is like.

The day/night camera with 56 infrared LEDs that I got can see as much as 60 feet even during total darkness with its 56 IR illuminators and also 1/3 Sony Super HAD CCD image sensor. And it is a weatherproof video camera therefore this will work anywhere.

This specific infrared camera can be acquired wired or cord less. It includes all the necessary power supplies and also battery packs. The wire free cameras, such as mine, contain a free 2.4 GHz receiver.

Not even the best low light surveillance camera in the world can return back in time to assist us catch that criminal that had taken several of our belongings. Even if we never put him in jail or get our items back, one thing is for certain, at least. If he tries to return, or another person breaks into our home, there is no way he's getting away with it unidentified, regardless of how dark it is.
