Vacationing in Michigan may not sound like a dream come true, but there are many people that are pleasantly surprised with all that they can do while they are in Michigan. The beauty of the state and the variety of landscapes can provide you with an exceptional vacation.

You know they are always there, but you never see them in any of the hotels in Iron River. They are the silent servants that make your bed for you. These are the maids that make your stay at any of the hotels around Iron River truly enjoyable. You know they're there, but you hardly ever see them.

Whether you decide to stay in the Iron River hotels or you decide that you would rather stay somewhere farther away from the water, there are many ways that you can make your hotel stay more comfortable. Knowing these tips can change your stay in hotels for the rest of your life.

No matter what their mood is, nor the quality of the property, every attendant is expected to be warm in their greeting. There is no more important position in the business to act this way than the attendants. They represent the Iron River Hotels' integrity. They walk into your locked room, giving them full access to tenants' personal property.

Before you use the sheet or the towels, you should be sure that you check them. Sometimes the towels or the sheets can get overlooked in cleaning and you want to make sure that you are using towels and sheets that have not been used since being washed.

When you check into your hotel room, it is important that you know the check-out time and you are prepared for your check-out. If you know that you are going to need a late check-out, do not be afraid to talk with the staff to see what accommodations they can make.

There's a strategy to it. They start at the far end of the room and work their way back to the door. They clean the dressers, tables, TV, headboards and anything you might have touched.

When you are getting ready to leave, go through your room thoroughly. You want to be sure that you are able to find anything that you may have left before you check out and leave it to be found by the housekeeping staff.

Any missing soap or toiletry items are replaced and surfaces are again wiped down. They sanitize and wipe down the shower, toilets, and mirrors. The process is quick because they do it on a daily basis. There usually isn't much for them to do, making them quick and efficient.

Instead, you'll find her dressed up in an attractive cowgirl outfit, riding around on a real Mustang and walking on packed dirt to accept their award. This person is chosen based on their scores in horsemanship, personality and public relations. She's awarded a scholarship as a prize. There's a lot to do in this beautiful city, book a room in one of the Iron River hotels today and come by to appreciate a good slice of northern Michigan.
