Preikestolen Looks Like The World's Most Dangerous Hangout Spot

Welcome to Preikestolen, also known as Pulpit Rock. This sheer cliff -- which resembles a pulpit for clergymen of ginormous proportions -- plummets a terrifying1,970 feet into the fjord below, threatening the life of whichever unlucky soul ventures too close to the edge for a photo.
This harrowing fate doesn't seem to scare tourists, nearly 200,000 of whom tempt fate by kicking back on Preikestolen every year.
The way they treat this cliff so casually is pretty unbelievable.

The hike to Preikestolen is not known to be an easy one, and it takes about two to three hours to complete.
Legend says that when seven brothers marry seven sisters from this region, the rock is going to plunge into the fjord and kill everyone. Comforting, right?
Better get some ultra-dangerous Instagrams while you can!
