As a population we have been very influenced by the celebrity culture. We place celebrities on a pedestal after watching them on television and in the movies. We go beyond their acting roles and their characters and want to know more about their private lives. Celebrity realty television shows are very popular because of this. The paparazzi make tons of money taking pictures of celebrities that we are willing to pay for. We want to know everything about their personal lives; what they do and what assets they have.
