Creating a Customer-Friendly Website

By Mark Green

Creating a customer-friendly website is the goal for any company who wishes to make their customers loyal, attract more customers and increase their profit. By bespoke webdesign a company's website can be easily transformed into a customer-friendly site containing every little thing that your customers want to see. bespoke webdesign sounds like a big and difficult task but it just takes some tips before you decide that you definitely need this. It's worth to check this because it means more customers and more income.

Who are your customers?

The main point of creating a website is for your customers to access it. And there's no better way to create a customer-friendly website than making sure that your bespoke webdesign meets the needs and demands of your customers. In order to meet them, one must know them first. Take an extra effort to identify your customers, their wants, preferences, etc. At the end of the day, a company that knows its customers can easily respond to them.

What do they want to see?

Corporate web design lets you decide not just on the content of the website but even the smallest details. The text or image balance or even the interface should be decided based on what fits your buyers. Remember, a customer visits your website either to buy your product/service or to check information related to your product/service and company. It's important you make everything relevant. For example, a banking company should not just provide sections for their services but also financial advices, customer support, etc. It makes them feel that you made the site for them.

How will colours help me?

Good question. Because your web site is primarily for customer consumption, every details of it even the colours should consider the taste of your customers. More importantly, your bespoke webdesign should make sure that viewing your site is easy because the background colours and other colours easily matched. Losing them because of a bad colour scheme or reading constraints because of the background colour is the least thing you want to happen. Also, don't forget to include colours that can be easily associated to your company and can easily give a positive association. Customize it, it's all about that.

How long will you make them wait?

It's important to consider the data size and the time needed to make your site load. Remember, your customers want to see information as easy and as fast as possible. Making them wait your site to load will make them lose interest same as how they will drop the call if it takes too long to connect. Consider this factor in your bespoke web design.

How will they navigate?

It's easy to make your sites manageable for your customers. Just make sure that there's room for easy navigation be it a first time visitor or a long-time user of your site. Make your navigating buttons easy to identify by labelling them and putting them in easily recognizable places. The rule of thumb here is that the navigation must be easily seen, usable and functional.
