underwater hotel room

Feeling adventurous? Got a spare couple of grand? If so, you might want to consider splashing out on a stay in this underwater hotel room, which gives new meaning to the phrase "sleeping with the fishes".
Part of the Manta Resort in Zanzibar, it doesn't come cheap, with rates starting at $1,500 (£1,000) a night, but this is a room with a serious view. The private floating island has three levels, so you can lie in bed and watch shoals of fish swimming past before hopping above deck and jumping in the Indian Ocean to join them. It sits 250 metres from the shore – a two-minute boat ride from the main Manta Resort.
