Who’s winning the race to treat COVID-19?

If there's one thing I've learned in my time as a biotech investor, it's to follow companies who get preferential treatment from the U.S. government. That means companies that get expedited approval for drugs... Or so-called fast-track approval that allows them to skip one set of trials — taking years off the process. You also want to pay close attention to companies with a key government partnership. These companies are going to have their paths greased. And they'll start profiting far sooner than companies without government help. I believe I've found one of the U.S. government's favorites in the race to treat COVID-19. This company is already successful in its own right, in part because of a long-term partnership with the United States Department of Health & Human Services. In years past, this company's drug was authorized to treat the Ebola virus. And this year, they've announced development for therapeutics designed to treat COVID-19. Once again, the government will be working right alongside them to bring it to market. Look, I've picked the top tech stock on the S&P 500 in three of the last four years.
