During situations like that, not all employees are offered the opportunity to continue working still for the company albeit in another branch. What the worker should be thankful for is that at least he still has a job even though it would mean being in another place away from his family. The worker can try to negotiate with the company.

This is what separates them from the hotel. The staff can cook in his quarter if he wants to. The space can be actually compared to that of the home. It is not just a four wall corner but the place is spacious. It has living area, a cooking area and all other spaces that are found in a typical home. Buildings like this are so designed in such a manner to help the staff overcome homesickness.

The place should be decent. Providing residential spaces to their workers can impact on the ability of the company to provide perks and other benefits to their workers. It reflects the company's financial capability to sustain the basic needs of their workers on top of the basic salary and benefits that they are presently receiving from the company.
