The cuisine provides a diverse selection, and fresh seafood is always available. The hotels and spas are world renowned, catering to top celebrities and some of the wealthiest people in the world, providing first-class accommodations and amenities. With regards to housing, many choose the luxurious condominiums, often located with wonderful water views. Of course, there are also single-family dwellings in gated communities, with water views or in proximity to beaches. Some of the major celebrities have made this state is their full-time or part-time home because of all it has to offer. Living in the lap of luxury in the Sunshine State is easy because it's everywhere. There is no need to worry about heavy coats and subzero temperatures. Instead, don't forget the bathing suits and the sun dresses. Furthermore, one may choose the life of luxury in some of the most beautiful condominiums available that are full of the best amenities. There's no need to hire anyone to trim the lawn or do the gardening, and focus only on all the pleasures of life. There's no need to tie oneself down since everything can be taken care of. So, anyone can enjoy their day at the beach, their weekends away, and still go to the gym that's an elevator ride away. This Airline Ticket Phenomenon Makes Total Sense And We Love It

We already knew we loved JetBlue -- that legroom! That personality! Those crunchy and free-flowing Terra Blues potato chips!

But according to recent research, there’s another reason to adore the indigo-hued airline: When JetBlue starts flying a domestic air travel route, overall ticket prices on that route drop 50 percent on average.

For example, in early 2013, flights from Boston to Philadelphia were $356 on average. But after JetBlue started flying from Boston to Philadelphia last May, the average price for a flight on that route -- with any airline! -- became a meager $118.

That's a huge shift.

And it's not the only one: Spirit, Frontier, Alaska and Sun Country Airlines round out the top five airlines that (usually) cause prices to fall when they enter a domestic airfare market.

Hopper, the travel research company who conducted this study, explains that when new competition (like a new airline) enters a market (like the airline industry), it’s not unusual for prices to drop all around. But when that new airline is JetBlue, they found, the price drops are far, FAR more dramatic than with other airlines.

Consider this example: When JetBlue started flying from New York to Charleston in 2013, the average cost of a flight (Any flight! With any airline!) on that route fell from $272 to $172. When they entered the Seattle to Anchorage market, prices plummeted from $542 to $236. That’s a discount of 57 percent, just because JetBlue had increased competition by flying that route at a lower rate than many other airlines.

To be fair, JetBlue isn't the clear winner in international routes. That crown belongs to US Airways (the airline that actually causes a price increase on domestic flights). US Airways causes flight prices to decrease by about 12 percent when they launch new international routes... and that's an awesome economic phenomenon for all of us.

New Jersey isn't exactly the first place you think of for an off-season getaway, but then again, New Jersey might not be a destination you feel the need to explore.

But way down the Garden State Parkway all the way at good ole Exit 0 sits Cape May, one of America's oldest seaside resorts. It's certainly not the first place you think of when you think of New Jersey, and that's a good thing.

Down there, it's like a trip back in time. You're so far south that you're basically parallel with Washington, D.C., and though you're definitely still in the 21st century, you wouldn't know it by looking at all the brightly-colored Victorian B&Bs.

The town is lovably walkable, family-friendly and easy to navigate. There are no cheesy boardwalks, no Snooki-esque sightings and no high-rise hotels. It's a blast from the past, in the best way possible.

Here are 13 other reasons -- in no particular order -- why you should make the pilgrimage to Cape May now. (Warning: A lot of these pertain to food. Sorry, not sorry.)

1. The falafel crostinis at George's Place. (Tip: Pick up a cheap bottle of wine at the well-stocked Collier's Liquor since this place is BYO.)

2. San Francisco is the only place in America that can claim to have more Victorian homes than Cape May. 

3. The out-of-this-world good carrot cake ice cream from Bliss Homemade Organic Ice Cream

4. The placemats at The Blue Pig Tavern, which give diners history tidbits as they stuff their faces silly with the farm-to-table fare.

5. Freshly-ground peanut butter (and their Reese's peanut butter cookie happiness, our name not theirs) at the Cape May Peanut Butter Company

6. The Basil Lemondrop Martini and the hand-cut truffle fries at Ebbitt Room win every.single.time. 

7. The farms are actually fun and walkable (and don't smell). There's the 62-acre Beach Plum Farm, which supplies the restaurants of Cape Resorts, or the Bay Springs Farm Alpacas because you haven't lived 'til you've seen a large herd of alpacas running towards you. 

8. Happy hour in the Brown Room at Congress Hall. It's nicknamed the "town's living room" for a reason.

9. A trip to the Jersey Shore isn't a trip without a stop for salt water taffy. Stock up at Fralinger's.

10. Uncle Bill's Pancake House at 6:30am. A hefty plate of chocolate chip pancakes FTW.

11. The bedrooms in the Star Inn's Carriage House. Calm colors, breezy fans and beds that will have you sleeping soundly all night. 

12. The Raw Bar at the Lobster House for some fresh fried fish and beer.

13. Kohr Bros' frozen custard. A beachside mainstay.
