At the same time, the worth of gold and silver in that country increased by about 46 percent! Venezuelans who held their assets only in the state's fiat currency immediately lost almost half of their purchasing power. However, if their holdings were in God's Money, gold and silver financial instruments, their net worth would have gone up by almost 50%.
Although the United States is not Venezuela, the current administration has shown itself to be one of the most power-hungry in American history, aiming to control and possibly wreck the U.S. economy.
The Federal Reserve and President Obama don't need Congress's approval to devalue the U.S. dollar in a fell swoop at any time. Their combined policies have been debilitating the currency over the long haul anyway, but there's nothing in the way of their imposing a "Chavez solution" on America as well.
We ought to be frightened-- very nervous. And now would be a good time to take our refuge in God's Money and in His Word.
We don't enjoy playing the role of "alarmist." But it is the work of a sentinel to wake up the troops.
