The Member of UNP leadership council and Member of parliament Mangala Samaraweera has had a long discussion with President.During the discussion Mangala Samaraweera had proposed to give the responsibility of helping to implement the 13 th amendment to the constitution fully, to resolve ethnic issues and to resurrect the tarnished image of Sri Lanka among foreign nations.The President had thought otherwise to offer some other position.At present he is on a holiday in Singapore.
