When you have a company that goes as far as back as 1856, you better make sure that there's a history to be told. Fortunately for Robert Jain Credit Suisse, the history seen is one that I don't think can be argued. For over 150 years, the bank has been in service, stretching from a small area in Switzerland before expanding on an international basis. If one wants to learn more about the bank in general, there is most certainly a story worth telling.
The bank that was founded back in July 5, 1856 was headed by Alfred Escher. This man was not only a good politician but a pioneer to be certain. Originally, this was supposed to be nothing more than a means of finance for a new railroad that was to be constructed. Little did anyone, perhaps even Escher, know, the bank became a huge success. When the initial stock was given three million francs to begin, it soon grew to as great as 218 million francs.

There have been changes made constantly and it was up to the company to accommodate to them and even make strides of their own. However, I think it'd be wrong to measure a bank and its measure solely on the advances it may have made. If you look at the ways of training, development, and other services, you can see that they are coming along and that they're just as effective. These are services that are required yet it seems like the company has been able to make them worthy of anyone's time. Considering how long it has been around, one has to wonder just how much better this particular bank can get.
Credit Suisse has quite a history behind it and I don't think it'll end anytime soon. This is most definitely a company that has stood the test of time and not many others can say the same, I am sure.
