Travelling on the stone road for many kilometers, is a very special experience. Sights are beautiful and they call for a good camera to capture these splendid times of the Incas. Such a trip can be very expensive, depending on your requirements. It is a good idea to plan it far in advance. Take your time and ensure that you get there at just the right time of the year. Remember that this whole region is closed for the renovation of the trails at certain times of the year, so be sure to book your spot when it is prime viewing time.

As with any expedition, you require a few items on your trip. Remember that you should be in a fit healthy state, in order to avoid making the experience an unpleasant one. In days gone by, the trail was not actually travelled by many people, but now with the new marketing the Inca trail has become more popular as the years have gone by.
